12: Proposed Data Analysis
Hello again.
We have now come to the last section in Chapter 3 which is on Proposed
Data Analysis. Since my study is a quantitative approach study, there are some
statistical analysis that I believe are deemed appropriate to answer each of my
research questions. The proposed data analysis is as follows:

   To
identify which perceptual learning styles are preferred by successful and
less successful TESL undergraduate students in learning literature. |

RQ1 & RQ2
For the first and second research question, the reason I decided to use
descriptive statistics is to find the mean and standard deviation of each of
the dimensions in learning styles and strategies among successful and less
successful learners. The mean and standard deviation will be helpful for me to
know which kind of learning styles and strategies are employed the most by
successful and less successful learners.
RQ3
I decided to use T Test Independent Samples to answer the third research
question. This is because it is used to compare between two groups and thus
suitable to my research question which is to find out the differences in
learning styles and strategies between successful and less successful TESL
undergraduate students.
RQ4
For my third research question, Pearson correlation is suitable to be
employed in order to discover the relationship between learning styles and
strategies used by successful and less successful TESL undergraduate students.
