Proposed Title:  Video Conferencing as a Platform in Teaching English as a Second Language Problem Statement Video conferencing  is one of the web-based technologies that can help teachers to deliver their lessons online instead of requiring a face-to-face interaction between educators and students. Therefore, video conferencing can be helpful for educators to communicate with their students who are far away. According to Anas and Musdariah (2018), this type of communication which is known as ‘communication 2.0’, will enable ESL educators to connect with their students regardless of their time and place. Proposed Title: Strategies and Approaches to Teaching Literature in Urban and Rural School Problem Statement As educators, teachers need to know the right strategies and approaches in teaching literature. They need to be able to integrate different strategies and approaches in their teaching and learning session of literature so that the learning of literature can be fun and enjoyable for the students. However, they might face a few challenges in doing so. One of the challenges is that they are not aware of the strategies and approaches in order to integrate them in their teaching of literature. Kee as cited in Muthusamy, Syahaizad, Michael, Arumugam and Thayalan (2017) claims that educators are concerned that they do not know the right approaches to use in teaching literature component to the students in the English syllabus. 01: Deciding on a Research Topic

On 2 nd of March, we had our first research methodology class where we were introduced to the course. We were informed that by the end of the semester, we will need to submit a research proposal related to our field. Hence, we were provided details on how to conduct a research. Below are several steps in doing a research: Steps in doing Research 1.       Determine topic of interest. 2.       Specify research problems. 3.       Specify research questions/ objectives/ hypothesis. 4.       Literature review. 5.       Determine methodology. 6.       Collect data. 7.       Analyse data. 8.       Report findings. First thing to do is, I need to determine my topic of interest. There are some topics related to ESL teaching and learning that I am interested in (the use of technology in classroom, teaching of literature or teaching of grammar). Since I still cannot decide on which topic I want to focus on, I read some articles to help me in getting a clearer visi
